“To improve is to change; to perfect is to change often.”
Sir Winston Churchill
Over the course of this year, EPIC has seen a much different

For achievements – EPIC had one operator achieve his 5th class power engineering designation, another complete their 4th class power engineering designation, and I was able to complete my 3rd class power engineering designation. We also have 1 operator taking the 5th class power engineering course through SAIT with two more starting in the new year, while two operators are studying to complete their 4th class power engineering. On top of this, one operator has completed his 2nd year HVACR schooling at SAIT and another operator will start his 1st year HVACR apprenticeship right at the beginning of the new year.

As we stated previously, we invest in education and training so the EPIC team can complete as much maintenance in-house as possible or finding the most cost effective solutions to provide the best value in a given situation. So what does this mean?
Taking off a failed pump and bringing it to the supplier to have it rebuilt or to find a replacement to install.
Taking off the burner and completing a cleaning of the inside of a boiler with EPIC’s soot vacuum.
Installing a new low water cut off sourced from our suppliers as the previous one failed its monthly safety test.
Changing out the micron filters for the facility systems and installing EPIC’s water treatment canister to clean the hot water system.
Changing out the belts and greasing the motors for air handling units as per contractors’ guidance recommendations.
